READING, Pa. - The Hood College men's soccer team fell 2-0 to Alvernia in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action.

• 8:36 into the game Tyler Arnold headed in a corner kick from Austin Young to make it 1-0.
• Drew Demich and Juliano Pillari each had three shots on goal.
• In the second half Kevin McFarland collected a rebound off a save from Castillo for Alvernia's second and last goal of the mathc.

• Hood is now 9-4 overall and 3-2 in the conference. 
• Alvernia is 3-10 overall and 2-2 in the conference.  
• Zach Rider made 10 saves in the shut out.
