Box Score SALEM, Va. - The Hood College women's basketball team had its three-game win streak snapped by Bridgewater (Va.) at the Susan Dunagan Holiday Classic at Roanoke, 74-55.

- Taylor McGaughey and Dajah Gee combined for 31 of the Blazers' 55 points. McGaughey knocked down 7 of 11 field goals for a team-high 16 points, while Gee poured in 15 points. McGaughey added four assists and four steals to her afternoon. Gee blocked two shots.
How it Happened
- McGaughey tied the game at 11-11 with a jumper before the Eagles scored the final four points of the first quarter for a 15-11 lead.
- Those four points were part of a 16-2 run that made it 27-13 with 1:29 remaining in the half. Bridgewater led 33-20 at halftime.
- The Eagles opened the third quarter with a 16-5 run to put the game out of reach. Hood used an 11-2 run in the fourth quarter to pull within 11, 63-52, on a 3-pointer by Celina Herndon with 5:27 to go. Bridgewater, however, followed with nine straight points.
Notes
- Briana Moore led all players with 20 points in the game for Bridgewater. Jessica Lamm scored 17 points and Rebecca Harvey netted 11. Kaitlyn Lehan grabbed 11 rebounds.
- The Eagles outrebounded Hood 51-26.
