FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College men's tennis team has its first match of the spring, as they face Fairleigh Dickinson University Florham March 11 at 2:30 pm.

SCOUTING THE BLAZERS

Hood enters the match with a 1-5 record. Alex Sexton (Mesa, Ariz. / Mesa), Joshua Sexton (Mesa, Ariz. / Mesa), Joe Benton (Mechanicsburg, Pa. / Cumberland Valley), Natnail Tesfay (Rockville, Md. / Wheaton) each have one win. Benton and Tesfay are 1-0 in doubles, while the Sexton brothers are 1-6.

SCOUTING FDU FLORHAM

The Devils are 0-3 this year, most recently falling to Drew University 8-1 on February 26. Max Moscowitz leads the Devils with two wins.

LAST TIME OUT

The Hood College tennis team ended their fall season last time out on October 17, 2015 in the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships. Tesfay and Jorden Hahn (Thurmont, Md. / Catoctin) picked up a first round win in doubles for the only Blazer win of the day before falling in the quarterfinals.

LAST MEETING

In the 2013-14 season, Luis Cotto picked up a singles win for the Blazers only point in an 8-1 loss on April 14.
