Box Score FREDERICK, Md. - Hood College's Drew Demich had two goals and two assists as the men's soccer team blanked Immaculata, 5-0.
Demich finished with six points, two shy of the school record and went over the 90 career point mark.
The senior started the scoring in the first minute with a goal just 42 seconds into the contest. He added his second at the beginning of the 14th minute to give the Blazers a 2-0 lead at the half.
He then assisted on two of Hood's three second half goals. In the 51st minute, Demich took a shot that hit the post and bounced to Ryan Tutzauer, who knocked it home for his first score of the season. Clay Smith made it 4-0 when he intercepted a pass deep in the Mighty Macs' end and scored. Luke Staley finished the scoring off a rebound of another shot by Demich.
Stephen Friend and Danny Castillo each played a half in goal. Friend started and made two saves in the first half. Castillo matched his save total in the second half.
Immaculata also split time with their goalkeepers. Joe Lubonski made four saves in the first half, while Billy Hegarty stopped three in the final 45 minutes.
The Blazers held a commanding 26-6 advantage in shots.
