- Shenandoah responded with a 12-0 run to take a 17-9 lead after one quarter of play.
- The Hornets increased their lead to 34-20 at the half.
- A layup by Pitt with six seconds remaining capped an 8-0 run to end the third period and trim the deficit to seven points 46-39.
- Hood pulled within six points in the fourth but could not get any closer.

- Four of Shenandoah's starters scored in double figures, led by Jordan Sondrol with a game-high 22 points.
- Kirstyn Arcata scored 21 points and Ashley Stone added 10 points, five assists, and six rebounds for the Hornets.
