FREDERICK, Md.- The Hood College men's soccer team found the back of the net twice to defeat the Saint Vincent Bearcats 2-0.

Blazer seniors Kyle Bulgarelli and Kenton Onspaugh were honored before the contest for senior day.

Inside the Box Score

• Alain Shekanino and Kyle McQuillen had a goal apiece for the Blazers.
• Matt Viti, Brandon Feuerherd, and Justin Poole each tallied one assist.
• Danny Castillo made one save, giving him his third shutout of the season.

How it Happened

• A save by Castillo in the 27th minute turned away the best chance for the Bearcats.
• The first marker didn't come until the 43rd minute when Viti played a ball to Feuerherd that he laid off for Shekanino to bury into the bottom right corner of the goal.
• Hood's other tally came in the 67th minute with McQuillen cleaning up a rebound off the shot from Poole to make the score 2-0.
• Saint Vincent had another opportunity late in the second half but it was cleared out of the box by Robert Ellerson.

• The Blazers improve to 6-3.
• Saint Vincent drops to 3-5-1 on the season.
• James Antonoplos had six saves for the Bearcats.
• Hood held a 20-1 shot advantage.
