Driscoll, Heon lead men's golf at Franklin & Marshall

LANCASTER, Pa. - Hood College's Sam Driscoll and Andrew Heon both shot rounds in the 70s to lead the Blazers at the Franklin & Marshall Fall Invitational at Bent Creek Country Club. 

How it Happened

  • Driscoll turned in a 77 on the par-71, 6,434-yard course to place 33rd. It was eight strokes better than his previous best round of the fall. 
  • Heon was one stroke back in a tie for 44th. 
  • Lance Coffey finished tied for 66th with an 83. 
  • Kyle Moir's 87 put him in a tie for 75th. 
  • Alex Polidoro was 78th, a shot behind Moir. 

Notes

  • Andrew Cornish of Penn State Berks was the individual champion with a 67.
  • Franklin & Marshall defended its home course with a team score of 284.
