FREDERICK, Md. – The Hood College men's soccer team fell to Albright College 2-1 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action.

• Jake Hynson scored his second goal of the year, assisted by AJ Lewis.
• Danny Castillo made five saves in goal for the Blazers.

How it happened

• In the 18th minute, Billy Hanratty scored the first goal for Albright from an assist by Anthony Parlato.
• Paul Baringinire scored in the 84th minute to put the Lions up 2-0.
• In the 85th minute, Hynson scored the lone goal for the Blazers off of a long throw-in by Lewis to cut the deficit to 2-1.
• Hood had an excellent chance to tie the game in the 88th minute, but a shot by Alec van Bronkhorst was turned away by Mullen.

Notes

• Billy Mullen made eight saves in goal for the Lions.
• The Blazers outshot the Lions 19-12.
