Box Score FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's basketball team led by two with one quarter to play but were outscored 20-10 in the fourth by Arcadia losing 55-47.

- Mia Savoy led the Blazers with 15 points. She added four rebounds and two steals.
- Marlise Newson scored eight points and had five steals while she and Celestria Hill claimed five rebounds apiece. Hill went for nine points.
How it Happened
- Hood led 19-17 at the end of the first quarter after Savoy fed Morgan Anderson who converted the fast break layup in the closing seconds.
- The Knights outscored the Blazers 11-4 in the second quarter with Jamie Manzo claiming six points for Arcadia off the bench. The Knights went into halftime with a 28-23 lead.
- Hood came out to a hot start in the third quarter after Hill scored and drew the foul. Savoy's bucket shortly after tied the game at 28.
- Taylor Dunn scored Arcadia's last five points of the quarter to put the score at 35-35. Newson's layup with 14 seconds left put the Blazers up two heading into the fourth quarter.Â
- Arcadia started the final quarter with a 9-0 run that started with a Sydney Barrer layup. The Knights outscored Hood 20-10 in the 4th quarter leaving the final score at 55-47.Â
