ANNVILLE, Pa. - Hood College's
Ann Coleman won four times as the women's swim team won 10 total events in a 131-98 win at Lebanon Valley.
Winners
- Coleman had three individual victories and swam on a winning relay. She won the 200-meter freestyle (2:29.96), the 200-meter backstroke (2:41.23) and the 100-meter butterfly (1:13.72). The meet began with the Blazers' 200-meter medley relay of Coleman, Kate Sanborn, Danielle Pong and Molly Cronin combining for a time of 2:15.58 and the win.
- Ashley Coppage recorded three individual wins. She won the 800-meter free in 10:47.62 and the 400 free in 5:15.30. Her third win came unopposed in the 200-meter fly with a time of 2:52.54.
- Melissa Jacobs swam the winning time of 1:14.64 in the 100-meter backstroke.
- Danielle Pong claimed victory in the 100-meter breaststroke in 1:19.68.
- Kate Sanborn took the win in the 200 breaststroke in 2:59.29.
Seconds
- Hood took the top three spots in two events: the 200 free and the 200 back with Coleman winning both events. Cronin was second in the 200 free in 2:31.80, while Haleigh Seek's 2:35.32 was third. Jacobs finished second in the 200 back with a 2:41.23 and Seek was third in 2:45.44.
- Sanborn was second to Pong in the 100 breaststroke in 1:23.43.
- Pong had a runner-up finish in the 100 free (1:08.70) with Cronin taking third in the event (1:10.36).
Notes
- Hood finishes its dual season with a record of 5-7.
