ASTON, Pa. - The Hood College women's lacrosse team turned in its best defensive performance of the year in a 12-4 win at Neumann.

How it Happened
- Brandt scored twice in a span of 51 seconds to open the scoring. She took an assist from Skorobatsch with 22:56 left in the first half for a 1-0 lead, then took a pass from O'Neill to make it a two-goal game.Â
- Rebecca Turner scored once before Brandt added her third at 14:28 to make it 4-0.Â
- The Knights got in on the scoring with a Brylin Adams marker at 9:17 but Tenley Reeder scored just over a minute later to make it 5-1. Turner assisted on a Lyons goal at 7:39 and Neumann got a late goal from Adams to make it 6-2 at halftime.Â
- Hood scored five in a row to put the game out of reach in the second half. Skorobatsch took an O'Neill assist just 30 seconds into the half, then scored again four minutes later to make it 8-2.Â
- Lyons, O'Neill and Brandt each scored unassisted with Brandt's tally making it 11-2 with 14:32 to play.Â
- Goals by Courtney Petrucelli and Adams within a minute later in the half made it 11-4. Skorobatsch picked up the final goal at 4:34.Â
