GWYNNED VALLEY, Pa. - Hood College's
Michael Riley scored 27 points but Drew University proved too much as the Rangers won 95-71 in the quarterfinals of the ECAC Division III Championships.

How it Happened
- The Blazers trailed by just three, 28-25, after a Mason Wang score with 6:46 left in the first half. Drew went on a 15-2 run over the next three minutes to go up 43-27 after a 3-pointer by Riley Collins.
- The Rangers led 49-36 at the half but Hood rallied with a bucket from Evan Wang and five straight points to cut the deficit to 49-43 three minutes into the second half. Just as in the first half, Drew answered Hood's run with one of its own, a 21-2 surge to make it 70-45 with 10:34 to play. A 3-pointer by Riley cut the lead under 20, 75-56 with 8:01 remaining. The Rangers would regain the momentum and grow the lead from there to as much as 95-64 with two minutes to play.
Analysis
- Drew used 16 offensive rebounds to score 21 second chance points.
- Hood went 8-of-26 from 3-point range (31 percent). The Rangers shot 17-of-44 (39 percent).
- The Blazers were 13-of-14 at the free throw line (93 percent).
