Second-half goals push York over Blazers

FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College men's soccer team fell 3-0 to Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth matchup with the York College Spartans. 

Inside the Box Score How It Happened
  • After a scoreless first half, York went on a three-goal run. Matt Zeider scored in the 67th minute to take the 1-0 lead over Hood.
  • Hood's best chance of the night was when Luke Hammer was awarded a penalty kick in the 67th minute that sailed high over the goal.
  • Nick Roche scored the Spartan's second and third goal within two minutes of each other to secure the 3-0 win over the Blazers. Roche's first goal was assisted by Ryan McElwain in the 77th minute and the second was an unassisted strike in the 79th minute.
