Men's soccer blanked by Alvernia

READING, Pa. - The Hood College men's soccer team fell to Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth opponent Alvernia 3-0 in the final game of the 2021 season.

Inside the Box Score  How It Happened 
  • Ryan Cogill scored the first goal of the game for Alvernia in the 20th minute that was assisted by Justin Fetrow to take a 1-0 lead over the Blazers.
  • In the 41st minute, Matt Knowles netted the Golden Wolves' second goal of the game to extend the lead to 2-0. 
  • Alvernia's Ryan Kuster's initial shot hit the post but he was able to gain control over the rebound to score in the 71st minute to secure the 3-0 victory.
