FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's soccer team defeated Alvernia University 5-0 in their last Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth matchup.  
 
Inside the Box Score   

• Caroline Roberts (Elkton, MD/North East), Katy Przybocki (Huntingtown, MD/Huntingtown), Priya Nair (Falls Church, VA/George C. Marshall), Natalie Sindlinger (Red Lion, PA/Red Lion) and Olivia Antonelli (Ellicott City, MD/Centennial) scored one goal apiece.  
• Nair added two assists. 
• Roberts, Delaney Crawford (Egg Harbor Twp., NJ/Holy Spirit), and Colby Painter (Reading, PA/Muhlenberg) dished out one assist each. 
• Gabi Dolan (Quarryville, PA/Solanco) registered five saves for the Blazers. 

How it Happened   

• Roberts got the scoring started for the Blazers with an assist by Nair in the 28th minute. 
• In the 33rd minute, Przybocki scored Hood's second goal of the game off an assist from Painter. 
• Nair found Roberts in the box to score the third goal in the 61st minute. 
• Nair's second assist came when she found Sindlinger in the 76th minute. 
• Crawford tallied her first assist of the season, when she found Antonelli to cap off the scoring for the Blazers. 

• Hood held the advantage 7-5 in corners and outshot Alvernia 19-10. 

For the Opponent   

• Lily Sankey recorded four saves in the first half and Brynn Bock made one save in the second half. 

Notes   

• Nair's assist tied for the 10th most assists in program history. 
• The Blazers win ranked the 10th most wins in program history 
• Hood moved to 5-12-1 on the year and 3-5 in the MAC Commonwealth.
