FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College esports team picked up a record-setting win against a Mitchell College team playing in just its second match in school history.

In the Record Book
- Hood set every goal scoring and assist record in program history in the win.
- Individually, Nate Burnett's (Westminster, MD/Westminster) (natertot) nine goals in game three and 20 goals in the match both set school records. Luke Sisco (Frederick, MD/Frederick) (ALLCAPS101) dished out seven assists in the second game and ended the evening with 16 to set a pair of records.
- Hood's 48 goals in the match and 36 assists set team records for a single match.
Inside the Numbers
- Sam Driscoll (Woodsboro, MD/Walkersville) (slammin18) finished the win with 17 goals and 10 assists.
- It was the first match for the Blazers in which they shut out their opponent in all three rounds. Hood finished without a save on the night, limiting the Mariners to just one shut in the opening game and none in the ensuing two rounds.

- Hood utilized a balanced attack with Burnett and Driscoll scoring four goals apiece and Sisco netting a hat trick. Sisco dished out a team-high four assists.

- The Blazers set the single game record for goals and Driscoll briefly set the individual mark with eight.
- Sisco's seven assists set the new benchmark for a single game.

- Burnett had a monster finish to the evening with a school record nine goals scored and finishing one assist short of that record with six.
- Driscoll added five goals and four assists, while Sisco tallied four goals and assisted on five scores.

- The victory stopped a seven-match losing streak to end the fall for Hood's Rocket League team.
