FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's swim team lost its Middle Atlantic Conference dual meet against York College of Pennsylvania with a final score of 121-22.

How it Happened

• Molly Cronin swam the 100-yard backstroke in 1:08.69, earning second place in the event. Her time of 28.13 was good enough for third place in the 50-yard freestyle.
• Grace Winpigler placed second in the 100-yard breaststroke, finishing in 1:22.43.
• Hailey Sofranko completed the 100-yard freestyle in 1:13.48, placing second in the event.

Notes

• Hood falls to 0-2 on the season. 
• It was the season opener for York.
