Field hockey comes from behind to defeat Centenary University


HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. - Hood College's Sage Barnhart scored twice as the field hockey team was victorious on the road against Centenary University 4-1.

Inside the Box Score  How it Happened
  • After a scoreless first period, Centenary got on the board when Christina Manser scored at 16:17 assisted by Michaela Thiessen.
  • Soon after, Barnhart netted her first goal of the game at 22:45, right before halftime Barnhart found the goal again at 29:31 to bring the score to 2-1 at the half.
  • Halfway into the third period Neebe scored at 39:18 to extend the Blazers lead heading into the final period.
  • Frost did not waste time, scoring a goal only 30 seconds into the fourth period to put the game out of reach.
