ELIZABETHTOWN, Pa. - The Hood College field hockey team battled Elizabethtown scoreless through three periods before the Blue Jays broke through for the 3-0 win.

• Elizabethtown shot two times in the first period, both were stopped by Brown keeping the score to 0-0.
• Hood had an opportunity to get on the scoreboard with a shot by Hannah Scheibach. The period was as dominated by the defense as both teams had just a single shot and went into halftime in a scoreless deadlock. 
• Elizabethtown got on the scoreboard less than two minutes in the third, with a goal by Grace Hardy at 31:38.
• Sydney Aguilar, who assisted on Hardy's goal, made it 2-0 at 51:36, before Chloe Smith put the game out of reach five minutes later.
