FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's soccer team fell to Pitt-Greensburg 6-1 in its season opener.

• Priya Nair (Falls Church, VA/George C. Marshall) scored one goal in her collegiate debut.
• Katy Przybocki (Huntingtown, MD/Huntingtown) tallied an assist.
• Gabi Dolan (Quarryville, PA/Solanco) registered six saves.

How it Happened

• The Bobcats opened the scoring at the four minute mark Jenna Conty's corner found the head of Tiffany Michalek who headed it past the goalkeeper. 
• Just 10 minutes later, Nair scored off of a centering pass from Przybocki leveling the score at 1-1.
• Sarah Tonkovich scored her first goal of the afternoon, capitalizing off of an errant ball from Hood to make it 2-1 in the 33rd minute. 
• The Bobcats added two more goals before halftime to take a 4-1 lead.
• The second half scoring opened with Julia Rowe converting in the 56th minute with an assist by Alexsia Barlamas.
• Barlamas capped off the scoring in the 83rd minute.

Analysis

• Pitt-Greensburg outshot the Blazers 12-10.

For the Opponent

• Tonkovich had a multi-goal game. 
• Michalek finished with a goal and an assist.  
• Lauren Yoder recorded four saves.
