FREDERICK, Md. - Andrea Kassa placed first in three events to lead the Blazers to a 129-103 victory over Middle Atlantic Conference opponent Lebanon Valley on senior day.

Top Finishes

• Kassa led Hood with three first-place finishes in all three events she swam in. Kassa swam a 12:00.52 in the 1000-yard freestyle, then swam a 2:30.04 in the 200-yard butterfly. Lastly, in the 500-yard freestyle, Kassa swam a 5:39.35 for the Blazers.
• On her senior day, Ann Coleman earned a first-place finish and second-place finish. Coleman swam a 1:10.93 in the 100-yard backstroke in 1:05.60 for a first-place finish. Coleman placed second in the 100-yard butterfly in 1:08.50.
• First year Riley Cowperthwaite placed first in the 100-yard free in 59.19 and finished second in 26.45 in the 50 free.
• Melissa Jacobs and Danielle Pong add two more first-place finishes of the Blazers. Jacobs placed first in the 200-yard freestyle in 2:15.82 while Pong won the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:14.48 and placed second in the 200-yard breaststroke in 2:46.44.
• In the 200-yard freestyle relay, the team of Kassa, Jacobs, Coleman and Cowperthwaite placed first with a time of 1:48.79.
• Molly Cronin, Jacobs, Coleman and Cowperthwaite picked up a first-place finish for the Blazers in the 400-yard medley relay in 4:34.50.
