FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's soccer team earned three points towards the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth standings with the 1-0 win over the Widener University Pride.

How It Happened
- Hood scored the lone goal in the 38th minute when Forgas' shot off a Frensley assist hit off the crossbar into the goal to secure the 1-0 win.Â
- The Blazer's had a chance to extend the lead when Caroline Roberts (Elkton, MD/North East) found a sliver of room and took a left-footed shot but Samantha Coon denied Roberts. This Roberts shot was one of five shots from the Blazer's in the second half.Â
- Widener made a last second effort to tie the game at one with a corner kick but the Blazer's got to the ball first and cleared it to end the game.Â
