Alvernia downs women's tennis in conference opener

FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College women's tennis team opened Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play with a 6-3 loss to Alvernia on Saturday. 

Doubles Singles
  • Castellano earned a 6-4, 6-2 decision over Heck at number five singles. 
  • At number 6 singles, Jakubowski won by forfeit over Alvernia.
