Tiffany Manning (Randallstown, Md./Western Tech) had 17 points and 11 rebounds but Messiah outlasted the Blazers 55-51 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth action.

- Messiah's Chloe Milanesi converted a lay-up to start the third quarter to give the Falcons their biggest lead of the game 31-22 less than a minute into the period.
- The Blazers answered with a 7-0 run that dwindled Messiah's lead to 31-29 with just under seven minutes to go in the third period.
- Morgan Adams pushed the Falcons lead back to six with a turnaround jumper, as Hood went into a timeout down 37-31 with 3:19 left in the third.
- Wright made a 3-point jumper with 42 seconds left in third to pull the Blazers within two with Messiah leading 37-35 after three quarters.
- Manning tied the game up at 37-37 with a hook shot with 9:18 left the final period.
- After Messiah's Faith Grula split a pair of free-throws to go up by one, Newson put the Blazers in front with a jumper on the very next possession 39-38 with 8:10 left.
