How it Happened
York took an early lead when Matt Martin scored in just the 4th minute of play. Shortly after, in the 11th minute, Matt Zeiders scored for the Spartans. Martin scored again for York in the 22nd minute of the match giving the Spartans a 3-0 cushion. Then in the 25th minute Quenzer put the Blazers on the scoreboard making it 3-1 at halftime.
In the 72nd minute of the match Dylan Marco puts the ball in the back of the net giving the Spartans a 4-1 lead. Lastly, in the 75th minute of the match Jack Mitzelfelt scored the final goal of the game.
For the Opponent
Cace Oburn picked up an assist on York's first goal.
Luke Nall had an assist on the second goal for the Spartans.
Brandon Holy was credited with two assists on goals for the night.
Jake Bono made one save for the Spartans after playing 90 minutes.
