FREDERICK, Md. - The second doubles duo of
Lauren Sheffler (Williamsport, Md./Williamsport) and
Ridley Little (Bristol, Va./Virginia) was victorious at second doubles, but Lebanon Valley took the rest of the points to defeat the Hood College women's tennis team 8-1 in Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth play.
Doubles
- Sheffler and Little won 8-4 over Kendall Halsey and Gianna Guay but Hood went into singles action trailing 2-1.
Singles
- Kate Haufe (Severna Park, Md./Severna Park) played the closest singles match for the Blazers, falling to Sarah Kramer 6-2, 6-4.
