FREDERICK, Md. - The Hood College men's soccer team's early goal was not enough as Juniata College rebounded in a 4-1 final.

Orlando Portillo (Silver Spring, Md./John F. Kennedy) netted the lone goal for Hood.
Nick Humphries (Potomac, Md./Potomac) recorded eight saves in all 90 minutes.
How it Happened
After the first 19 minutes of play Hood would take the lead over Juniata after a goal from Portillo. Juniata responded with a goal from Jayden Gaynor in the 35th minute, tying the match going into halftime.
The Eagles would take over early in the second half with a goal in the 46th minute by Ian Edwards off an assist from Gaynor. In the 53rd minute, Juniata scored its third goal after a shot from Ryan Angelone and an assist from Edwards. Hood would have a couple of good shots on goals with one shot each by
Ruben Effah Agyemang (Kumasi, Ghana/Largo (Md.)) and
Cam Simpler (Middletown, Del./Appoquinimink). However, the Eagles scored again in the 73rd with a shot by Emmett Young, closing out the match's scoring.
Analysis
Juniata held the advantage in shots 24-8 and 5-4 in corners over Hood.
For the Opponent
Gaynor, Edwards, Angelone and Young all scored once for Juniata. Gaynor and Edwards all notched an assist.
Arun Subramanian recorded four saves in goal.
