Men's Soccer falls into a Green Terror

Box Score WESTMINSTER, Md. – The men's soccer squad conceded three goals in the first half to McDaniel and the score would sit 3-0 in the loss on Tuesday night.

How it Happened
 
The first goal from the Green Terror came via a striker beating his defender downfield with the numbers advantage and his blocked shot redirected to McDaniel's Matt Bowes on the opposite side to find open space in the goal.
 
Just over a minute later, a tangle up at the edge of the box resulted in a McDaniel penalty kick where Parks Tolton chose to aim his shot to the opposite side of the goalie for 2-0.
 
The scoring in the half and the game ended via a corner kick where a McDaniel athlete found the ball in a crowded box and put the game away.
 
The Blazers closest scoring opportunity came via a sliding Jonathan Fuentes (Hagerstown, Md./Oakdale) from 20 feet away from the side of the goal sent a rocket that hit the crossbar and rolled to a McDaniel defender to clear.
 
For the Opponent
 
Tate Roth had five saves for the Green Terror.
