Mechanicsburg, Pa. - The Hood College men's cross country team concluded the regular season at the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships, hosted by Messiah University.
On the Course
Chris Sappe (Ijamsville, Md./Urbana) led Hood with a time of 27:58 on the 8,000-meter course, finishing 35th overall.
Alex Seskar (Great Mills, Md./Great Mills) placed 55th and ran a 28:43.5.
Warren Hersh (Havre de Grace, Md./The Tome School) finished in 104th place after running a 30:47.7 8k.
Leule Yohannes (Rockville, Md./Richard Montgomery) placed 118th overall with a time of 33:37.4.
Thomas Kasanicky (Eagle Mountain, Utah/Westlake) closed out the meet's placing for the Blazers as he finished 134th with a time of 38:40.8.
Champions and Team Scoring
Lebanon Valley College found itself at the top of the leader boards with 34 points.
Rory Lieberman of Lebanon Valley College was the individual champion and ran a time of 26:05.6.
Hood placed 13th overall with a total of 345 points.
