ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Hood College women's swimming team came up just short against Middle Atlantic Conference opponent Lebanon Valley College in a 98-88 loss.
Top Finishes
The 200-meter medley relay team of
Addy Benton (Frederick, Md./Urbana),
Lindsay DeLauder (Frederick, Md./Frederick),
Sidney Brinkman (Lancaster, Pa./Lampeter-Strasburg), and
Hannah-Grace Enriquez (Frederick,Md./Frederick High School) finished first with a time of 2:20.06.
Emma Bowers (New Market, Md./Linganore High School) won the 400-meter freestyle race in 5:39.08 and earned silver in the 200-meter freestyle with her 2:36.74 time.
Brinkman also took second place in the 100-meter freestyle, touching the wall in 1:08.13.
Benton came in first in the 100-meter backstroke with a 1:16.75 and third in the 200-meter freestyle event with a 2:37.61.
Brinkman also placed second in the 100-meter freestyle race with a time of 1:08.13.
Taegan Murphy (Walnutport, Pa./21st Century Cyber Charter) took home bronze in the 50-meter freestyle and 100-meter backstroke with her 32.18 and 1:19.05 times respectively.
Andrea Kassa (Monongahela, Pa./Ringgold) won both events she participated in, finishing the 200-meter IM in 2:41.77 and the 100-meter butterfly in 1:14.00.
