NEWVILLE, Pa. – The men's cross country team finished 20th overall in a competitive 32-team field at the NCAA Regional Meet in the 6K hosted by Dickinson at Big Spring High School on Saturday morning.
Top Times
Alex Seskar (Great Mills, Md./Great Mills) led the way for Hood, crossing the line in 27:27.7 for 73rd place.
Chris Sappe (Ijamsville, Md./Urbana) followed with a time of 27:51.1, good for 84th overall.
Warren Hersh (Havre de Grace, Md./The Tome School) was the third scorer for the Blazers, finishing in 28:53.1.
Ramzee Keyrouz (Bethesda, MD/Walter Johnson) clocked 30:51.7,
Alonzo Miles (Washington, DC/KIPP DC College Prep) and
Leule Yohannes (Rockville, Md./Richard Montgomery) rounded out the scoring five with times of 31:19.2 and 31:39.1, respectively.
On the Leaderboard
John Hopkins earns the team crown with a score of 23. All five of their racers landed in the Top 10.
Kenny Wanlass of Johns Hopkins takes the top individual spot with a time of 25:16.
Hood's finish of 20th overall posted a team score of 618 points.
