GRANTHAM, Pa. - The Hood College women's soccer team drop contest at No. 9 Messiah University, as the Blazers fell 3-0 in a Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth matchup.

How it Happened
The Falcons struck first after gaining the first possession in the match. Just five minutes and thirty-three seconds in Addi Martin found the back of the net giving Messiah the initial leading edge, 1-0. Throughout the first half, the Blazers held a strong defensive stand as they denied any potential attempts from the Falcons.
In the second half, the Blazers had hopes of turning their strong defense into a stable offense. Messiah had other plans however and managed to score two more goals within the five minutes of each other. As the final buzzer sounded in the stadium, the final score was 3-0.

Ellie Ockrin made a single save in the match after 23 minutes and 52 seconds of playtime.
Addi Martin, Brittany Laird and Hannah Adair each had a goal on the night.
