ST.DAVIDS, Pa. – The women's tennis team traveled to Eastern to open up their conference slate but fell to the Eagles 6-1.
Doubles
The duo of
Anna Frye (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) and
Josephine Sasse (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) fell just short in No. 1 doubles 7-5.
Natalie Mackie (Elkton, Md./Elkton) and
Samantha Huffer (Lovettsville, Va./Woodgrove) were the only ones left victorious in doubles after the 6-4 win in No. 2 doubles.
Singles
Anna Frye (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) continued her reign of No. 1 singles with a 6-3, 6-0 score.
Josephine Sasse (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) in her first singles went 6-3, 6-2 in No. 2 singles.
Natalie Mackie (Elkton, Md./Elkton) and
Samantha Huffer (Lovettsville, Va./Woodgrove) battle in No. 2 and 3 singles but fall 6-2, 6-3 and 6-2, 6-2.
