CHEVY CHASE, Md. - The Hood College Equestrian Team completed their Spring Season at the University of Maryland Show at Meadowbrook Stables.
At the Show
Senior
Brooke Weadon (Frederick, Md./Oakdale) started the day off placing 4
th on UMD's Q in Intermediate Fences.
Sophomore
Sarah Wauls (Lancaster, Pa./Hempfield) placed third in her debut Intermediate Fences on UMD's Q and third in Intermediate Flat on UMD's Zara.
Sophomore
Reagan Ochoa (Rohrersville, Md./Barbara Ingram School for the Arts) placed third in her debut Limit Fences class on UMD's Pudge and fourth in her first Limit Flat class on UMD's Olive.
Junior Delmy Velziroglu placed second in her debut Limit Fences class on UMD's Jesse.
Sophomore
Angelina Sotela (Frederick, Md./Frederick) placed fourth in her debut Limit Flat class on UMD's Olive.
Emilia Alcala-Torrez (Washington, D.C./Jackson-Reed) placed sixth in Pre-Novice with UMD's Pudge.
And finally, First Year
Emily Piersall () finished the day winning her Pre-Novice Flat on UMD's Doodlebug and pointed out of Pre-Novice into Novice.
After a great day of competition, Hood ended the day in fourth place overall.
