GRANTHAM, Pa – The Hood College Women's Track & Field team delivered a full-throttle performance on Saturday, April 11, 2026, as the Blazers split competition between the Messiah University & Bucknell Bison Invitational. Across sprints, mid-distance, distance, and throws, Hood athletes produced personal records, season bests, and a new school record.

The distance squad added major highlights, led by first-year Amber Marshall () ran a breakthrough 19:24 in the 5K with a third-place finish. Teammate Rosie Olivar (Beltsville, Md./High Point Senior) followed with a strong 20:27 to place 12th, giving the Blazers the momentum they needed.
First-year sprinter Jahsiyha Savoy continued her impressive rise, opening the day with a 13.14 giving her a new personal record in the 100 meter dash before returning for a strong 27.78 seconds in the 200 meter dash. In the 400 meters,
Senior Tianna White (Silver Spring, Md./James Hubert Blake) powered through the one-lap sprint in 66.9 seconds.
Senior Megan Pezenosky (Walkersville, Md./Walkersville) followed with a steady 70.13 seconds. Senior Megan Mulholland (Beachwood, N.J./Toms River South) added a solid mid-distance mark, clocking 5:33 in the 1500 meters.
In the throws, Senior Kindal Davis (Suffolk, Va./Lakeland) showcased her versatility with marks of 7.82 meters in the shot put, 33.33 meters in the hammer, and 15.89 meters for the javelin.
At Bucknell, the Blazers capped the weekend with two standout performances. Aylene Noy (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) shattered the school record in the 10K, running 36:38 for a massive personal record to place just outside the Top 25, while Maya Carey delivered a strong 18:56 in the 5K, continuing her upward momentum.
