Cansler earns Academic All-MAC honors

NEWTOWN, Pa. (Academic News) – Hood College's Griffin Cansler (Frederick, Md./Tuscarora) earns his first Academic All-MAC honors as the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Executive Director Megan Morrison announced the 2026 Men's and Women's Golf Academic All-MAC Teams on Wednesday morning. A total of 20 student-athletes were recognized.
 
The Spring Academic All-MAC teams recognize the top student-athletes both in the classroom and in athletic competition during the 2026 spring semester. The MAC sports information directors nominate and vote on the Academic All-MAC teams, giving 50 percent weight on both academic success and athletic success. A student-athlete must have a spring semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award.
