FREDERICK, MD - The women's soccer team could not come out with the win on the road today in Salisbury, Md., falling 4-1 against the Sea Gulls of Salisbury University.

How it Happened
The Blazers looked hot out of the gate securing the first goal of the match by
McKenna Bishop (Johnson City, Tenn./Mount Hebron (Md.)) during the 14
th minute. It didn't take long for the Sea Gulls to respond slashing a goal in the 18
th minute, bring the score to 1-1. The Sea Gulls weren't done yet and tacked on another goal in the 27
th minutes progressing the score to 2-1.
The Blazers only down one at this point, came out of the half looking to try to strike back and bring the game back on their side. However, the Sea Gulls after a foul on the Blazers knocked another two goals on the board pushing the game out of reach for the Blazers in the 62
nd and 78
th minute.
The Blazers battled throughout the match and continued to create opportunities on the offensive end, but Salisbury's attack proved difficult to contain. Despite the loss, the Blazers continued to fight until the final whistle and will look to bounce back in their next contest.
