Before Hood: Ran track for Tom Wise at Mercer Area High School and was a member of the football team, coached by Pat McLearn...In track, was a Region 10 Second Team All-Star as a member of the 3,200-meter relay as a senior...President of Mercer Track and Field Program...National Honor Society...Honor Roll.
