Andrew Tressa was named an assistant coach at Hood College in January 2020 and will work with infielders and hitters.
Prior to Hood, Tressa spent five years living in China and traveling the world as an English teacher and finished his time abroad as the International Head of School at Eton Pattison Kindergarten in Harbin, China.
A former college teammate of head coach Michael Impellittiere, Tressa helped lead Misericordia to three Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom Championships. An all-region performer by both D3baseball.com and the American Baseball Coaches Association, he earned all-conference on two occasions. Tressa finished his career in the Cougars' top 10 categories in career games played, at-bats, hits, total bases,runs scored, stolen bases and in HBP.
Tressa graduated from Misericordia in 2013 with a bachelor's degree in government, law and national security. He is currently pursuing a master's degree from Southern New Hampshire University in curriculum and instruction.
