Ellison Hanna II joined Hood’s baseball coaching staff in the summer of 2021.
Hanna played two seasons at Indiana State University, after transferring from Kirkwood Community College in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. He arrives at Hood after completing a notable 2021 season, ranking among the team leaders a .337 average and a .629 slugging percentage. He posted a career batting average of .313 in two seasons at Indiana State.
A native of Nassau, Bahamas he received his Bachelor of Arts in public relations. He is currently pursuing his master’s degree in business administration at Hood.
