Mike Victory

Mike Victory

Mike Victory was announced as the third head baseball coach in program history in January of 2025.

After landing the job right before the season began, Victory led the team to a 12-28 overall and a 7-14 record in the Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth. The team took impressive wins over York Pa. and Messiah, who the Blazers have only beaten once since 2021. The squad had two All-Conference selections in catcher Ty Broughton and AJ Haines.

Victory spent the previous five seasons at the helm of the Brevard College Baseball program.

In 2019, Victory helped guide Allegheny to a 22-17 overall record and a 10-7 record in the North Coast Athletic Conference.  As Pitching Coach, he led the Allegheny pitching staff including 2019 North Coast Athletic Conference Pitcher of the Year Sean Kealey.  He also served as Allegheny's Recruiting Coordinator and Head JV Baseball Coach.

Before Brevard College, he spent three seasons as the Assistant Coach at NCAA Division III Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania to go along with extensive experience coaching for the USA Baseball Academy.

Prior to his tenure at Allegheny, Victory spent four seasons as an Assistant Coach at St. Mary's College (Maryland), serving as the team's Pitching Coach and Recruiting Coordinator.  As Pitching Coach, he helped the Seahawks lower their team earned run average in his first season and mentored Capital Athletic Conference standout, Sam Beatty.  In addition to his baseball duties, Victory served as an Assistant Coach for the St. Mary's women's basketball program for seven seasons.

As a student-athlete, Victory was a pitcher for St. Mary's College from 2009-12.  A two-year captain and a four-time CAC All-Academic Team selection, he claimed the team's Rookie of the Year award in 2009.  In his senior season, Victory finished in the top-25 nationally in the fewest walks per inning (0.125) while also receiving the Athletic Director's Award for his overall performance as a student-athlete on and off the field.
