Nathan Kessler joined Hood's baseball coaching staff in the fall of 2019.
Kessler was a three-time All-Middle Atlantic Conference Commonwealth selection, helping lead Hood to a pair of playoff appearances. The Blazers advanced to the championship game in 2018 and earned the top seed in the conference tournament in 2019.
He finished as a career .324 hitter with 104 runs, 148 hits, 24 doubles, eight triples, 73 runs batted in, 46 walks, 52 stolen bases, a .438 slugging percentage and a .412 on-base percentage, ranking among Hood's all-time leaders in each category.
Kessler, a former sports information intern, earned his bachelor's degree in integrated marketing communication in 2019 and is currently pursuing an MBA.
