Nick Meyer

Nick Meyer joins the coaching staff at Hood College for the 2018-19 academic year. 

Meyer spent the four previous seasons as the as pitching coach at McDaniel from 2015-18.

Meyer was a four-year member of the Stevenson baseball team, playing both outfield and pitching his first two years, Meyer transitioned to a pitcher only on the Mustang staff. 

As a junior, Meyer became a submarine pitcher to primarily work out of the bullpen. After tearing his rotator cuff during his senior season, Meyer immediately began coaching in the Maryland Collegiate Baseball League (MCBL) for the Baltimore Chop as the Assistant Coach/Pitching Coach.

The Chop captured league championships in 2012 and 2013. The 2013 Chop that went 32-2 received national recognition as one of the top summer teams in the nation from Perfect Game USA.

After the 2013 season, Meyer became the head coach of the Baltimore Chop leading them to a second place finish in the MCBL for 2014.

Meyer graduated from Stevenson with a degree in information systems in 2012.
