Sean Connole

Sean Connole was named the assistant coach of the Hood College’s baseball program in September 2017.

Connole spent the past two years at Georgetown University as the volunteer assistant coach, working primarily as a positional coach for outfielders, hitters, and base runners. Additionally, he worked dozens of baseball camps for high school athletes aspiring to play collegiate baseball.

He served as assistant to the head coach at Springfield College from Fall 2014 to Spring 2015. There, Connole assisted in roster decisions, practice plan development, and first base coaching.

Connole played four seasons at Washington College as both an outfielder and a left-handed pitcher. During his collegiate career, he was named team captain and declared the MVP in 2013. He batted .370, earned All-Centennial Conference Second Team honors in 2011 and 2013 and was selected to the first team as a junior in 2012.

Connole earned his Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Washington in 2013 and is currently working towards his Master of Science in Exercise Science and Sports Studies from Springfield College.
