Ying Van Schaik joined the coaching staff in 2022 as an assistant coach with the focus on goalkeepers.
Prior to Hood, Ying was the goalie coach at McDaniel College for two years and many years of high school coaching experience.
Ying also has experience as a Strength and Conditioning Coach at The Academy of Holy Cross in Kensington, Md. where she worked closely with sudent-athletes on rehabilitation needs, injury prevention and general strength and conditioning.
Ying is a 2014 graduate of Hood College and has earned two Master Degrees since from Loyola University Maryland in Master of Arts in Emerging Media in 2017 and Ohio University in the Master of Science in Athletic Administration in 2019.
