Tony Leone

Anthony Leone joined the Blazers coaching staff n 2015-2016.

In his first year on the staff, the Blazers battled injuries to finish 13-12 overall, the program's 11th .500 or better record in its 13-year history. Davon Hill was named to the All-Middle Atlantic Conference Commowealth team, was a CoSIDA Academic All-District pick for the second straight year and was named the MAC Men's Basketball Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year. Three players were named to the National Association of Basketball Coaches Honors Court and the Blazers earned an NABC Academic Excellence Award for their work in the classroom.

Leone comes to the Blazers after a successful 10-year stint as a high school coach. In seven years at Grove City High School (Grove City, Pennsylvania), the Eagles advanced to the playoffs six times, and advanced to the PIAA Western Finals in 2007. Additionally, Leone spent three successful years at Quince Orchard High School in Gaithersburg, Maryland. In 2010, the Cougars finished the season with a record of 19-2 and were ranked as high as No. 17 by The Washington Post, while the 2011 squad advanced to the Maryland 3A West Regional Final.

Leone, a 2004 Grove City College graduate, and his wife Miranda reside in Washington, D.C.
