Coach Alex "Dudz" Dudziak joined the Hood College men's lacrosse coaching staff as the program's goalie coach in the spring of 2026. A former six-year goalie for the Blazers, Dudziak brings firsthand knowledge of the program and a passion for developing the next generation of student athletes.
During his playing career at Hood, Dudziak established himself as one of the top goalies in Division III, finishing the 2024 season ranked 40th nationally in save percentage. His dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence earned him the Hood College Men's Lacrosse Coaches Award in 2024, recognizing his impact on the program both on and off the field.
In addition to his coaching duties at Hood, Dudziak serves as the New England Regional Manager for USA Lacrosse. In that role, he works with coaches, officials, leagues, and program leaders throughout the region to support the growth of the sport, expand educational opportunities, and strengthen the lacrosse community. His involvement with the sport's national governing body provides valuable insight into player development and the evolving landscape of lacrosse at all levels.
Additionally, Dudziak is a professional lacrosse stringer and serves as the Director of Stringing for Team Maryland Lacrosse Club. Prior to his return to Hood, he coached with the Sweetlax Charleston Loggerheads from 2024 to 2025, further developing his expertise in player development and goalie training.
Dudziak earned both his Bachelor's degree and MBA from Hood College, where he was a member of the men's lacrosse program and competed as a goalkeeper for the Blazers under Head Coach Brad Barber from 2018 to 2024.
