2010: Had an historic campaign in 2010 ...Started all 15 games that he appeared in ... Scored a career-highand season-high 11 goals on 37 shots ... He was one goal away fromtying a school record for goals in a season which is still held at12 by former assistant coach Tom Noonan ''08 ... Had two assists onthe year to give him a career- and season-high 24 points, which isalso second all-time to Noonan ... Scored his first career hattrick and a career-high of six points in a game against ValleyForge Christian ... Scored the game-winning goal in overtimeagainst CAC rival Wesley, which at the time put the Blazers infourth place in the conference ... Because of Mendez''s great seasonhe became the first player in Hood men''s soccer history to be namedto an all-CAC team (second team).

2009: Appeared in all 16 games with 13 starts... Had five shots on the season, three on goal... Scored his onlygoal of the year off a penalty kick in Hood''s 5-0 win versus Mt.Aloysius ... Had the lone assist on Mike Yencho''s goal againstValley Forge Christian ... Finished the season with threepoints.

2008: Played in 15 games, starting 13 …Scored a game-winner against Mount Aloysius on Sept. 11 for hisfirst career goal … Also tallied an assist against ValleyForge Christian on Sept. 8, giving him three points on the season… Third on the team in shots (15) and fourth in shots ongoal (7).
