Derek Siewert was named assistant coach for the men's volleyball team in the fall of 2022.

A Hershey, Pa. native, Siewert graduated from Messiah University in 2020 with his undergraduate degree in adventure education.

In 2018, Siewert served as the team manager for Messiah's inaugural men's volleyball season as an official NCAA Division III team. The following year in 2019, Siewert joined the roster and played right side for the Falcons.
