Fon Muttamara began her second stint on the Hood College women's lacrosse coaching staff in the 2018-19 academic year.

She previously assisted at Hood during the 2015-2017 seasons. 

Working primarily with the goalies, she tutored Lauren Couch to all-conference honors during her first year on staff in 2016.

Muttamara was a member of the University of Maryland women's lacrosse team from 1997-1999. A goalie for the Terrapins, she was a two-time national champion and ACC champion.

In 2004, she coached for the Triangle Lacrosse League in Durham, North Carolina and currently coaches for the Bethesda Lacrosse Club.

Muttamara graduated from the University of Maryland in 2000 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminology and Criminal Justice. She has also earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Law from Duke University School of Law.

Muttamara is a graduate of Watkins Mill High School where she was a member of the inaugural varsity lacrosse team for the county.
